These martial arts belts measure 2” in width, allowing the wearer to display their color and rank more prominently than narrower belts. They are worn by practitioners of various martial arts like Karate, Tang Soo Do, Kung Fu, Jiu-Jitsu, and more. Each belt signifies the wearer’s progression and experience level with a different color. These colors include black (typically the highest level), white, yellow, green, brown, orange, red, and more. Stripes, patches, and other accessories may also be attached to belts to represent additional achievements.
Belts are made from materials such as cotton, cotton/poly blend, nylon, or satin. They’re available in multiple sizes and a double-wrap style from brands including ProForce and Thunder. When choosing a belt length, it’s recommended that approximately 12 inches of the belt hang down from the knot when tied.
